Exactly, rough and tough is rough and tough in love and hate - I don't think these guys are up for a touchy-feely you -hurt-my feelings bawling session! Do you find this valuable?

Then Keith should have explained himself in a calm manner and told Johnathan ..No Disrespect intended....But he was just too eager to jump back in his face and defend what his true motive was...There are no ignorant comment's here just opinion's and EVERYONE is entitled to his or her's..GL2D 1  out of 1 found this valuable. "Look at what Jon did to Russ last year. Russ was his "good friend" Russ once saved Jons life out on the Bering Sea. This was all written by Jonathan himself. He was just pissed that Keith called his boat a row boat. Do you remember last year when Jonathan went down and started throwing things at his crew for not doing something. He needs anger mangement. Give me a break"
He got rid of Russ because he wasn't a good worker. He was always slacking off and he wasn't a good friend to Jonathan or he would have been busting his butt to get the jobs done. Keith even got rid of him. As for other thing if those guys don't do what the Captains say it could cost someone their life. so they have to listen, their lives depend on it. 1  out of 1 found this valuable. Do you?

Keith acts like a wimp among real men. Whining and self pity aren't leadership qualities. You don't hear this from Sig, Jon or Andy, 2  out of 2 found this valuable. Do you?

I agree with you that the Captains need to be tough so no one should bust on Keith for being mean to his crew. I think he truly cares about his crew. Remember how he felt when his crew was almost wiped out by the monster wave. Do you find this valuable?

Yeah he was real tore up when he realized how bad he screwed up he risked the lives of all the crew members including his own brother, that is like a drunk driver who gets in a wreck and is sorry he killed all the people in his car.....I would not trust Keith to pilot a jet ski....his eye is on the money....and safety went out the window......and tell me this....why did he not roll up that tarp before leaving out to sea....why wait until you are in bad weather.....another stupid move by Keith...I could write a book on all the stupid moves he does....there is being strict on your crew and there is being an angry assh0le......and Keith is a big one. 1  out of 1 found this valuable. I really don't know why the wizard is still on the show! Since Lenny left, there is no personality left on the boat - just winging Coburn's. We get to see the 1st episode next week and I can't wait to see what happened with Johnathon...I love Johnathon so much, he just makes me laugh - more than anyone can say about Keith!!
For Season 7, I would really love the Invincible back as the 4th crew instead of the dull wizard !!! 0  out of 1 found this valuable. Do you?

OK I dont want to be the big B here but what is wrong with you people. I don't understand why you all are so down on Keith. I do not dislike anyone on the any of the boats but you guys are being really tough on Keith this season. Are you jealous that he has the biggest boat and that he catches the most (Or almost the most) crab each season??? 1  out of 2 found this valuable. Do you?

What are you talking about....jealous of being the biggest douchbag on TV....no I think not....biggest boat? Is this a size contest? The Wizard was not made as a crab boat to begin with......but if you like compare it to the Trawlers like Atlantic Dawn at 472 feet or the Albatun Dod etc., something tells me you are a wannabee Greenhorn 0  out of 1 found this valuable. I don't care if keith is a jerk, johnathan acted like a playground bully, you do not lay hands on someone when you are mad. johnathan is lucky that he did not his ass in jail. That kind of person ,needs to move on, if I want to watch something like that, I can just open my door and look outside! 1  out of 1 found this valuable. Do you?

I think he may have just let his booze cloud his better judgement to commit assault on tv. this is just the way these kind of guys handle their differences..you know tough manly men..one of the reasons we love them. I'm not sure I saw the same episode as some of you. I noticed that Keith is the one who bucked up at Jonathan. He came towards Jonathan. Someone comes in fast and angry like that towards you and there is a self preservation thing that kicks in. Well I know I'd have done the same thing if someone came at me like that. He stopped himself from actually throwing a punch, which I think is great restraint. As far as Keith goes he is an ass and his own brother can't stand to look at him half the time. Brothers love each other, doesn't mean they have to like each other. I will say that I understand why Jonathan kicked Russ off, doesn't mean I have to like it though. It is what it is...just life. Do you find this valuable?

I'd never fish with Sig. The only reason that little boat is competing with the larger boats is his family's tradition of cruel and unusual punishment in the name of money. Keith... he does seem to be show boating. So is Jonathan. What ever guys. They'd never do that crap if a camera wasn't around. And what is with all the shaving and showering?? Do you find this valuable?

Clouds... I wondered that too because sheesh I so remember going a week or 2 or more without a shower!!!and washing my hair with cold water over the side of the boat...if I had enough energy left to do it!!!. Do you find this valuable?

Yep, pretty much standard. They'd come on the boat all shiny. After the season, they'd leave it looking like crazy-eyed cave men. Plus with water rations, even me as an observer only got a shower.. occasionally. And then there was that time the water maker broke in the middle of a brown King trip. I managed to wash my hair in salt water in a bucket on deck and that was it for... a long time. Washing clothes? Only when the seas were calm. I first started getting curious about the show, wondering how'd they act differently with a camera crew around. Didn't clean up the language much but there are other differences. Like where are all the culturally very inappropriate jokes? Watching Jonathan pysch himself up before going to meet Keith was all for show. You know Sigs little sign, "Check your emotions at the door"? That isn't completely accurate. You are allowed to only to be angry or momentarily happy. That is it. You are even invited to elicit anger in others on some boats simply because it makes people furious to get the work done. Nothing like a good yelling match over th block to get the blood going! Do you find this valuable?

Clouds you are sooooo right...fresh water was golden... if we did grab a shower we got no more than 2 minutes to take care of business...get wet... turn off water.. soap up.... rinse and you were done... about 5 gallons of water total....these guys are pretty clean!!! We always ad a leave your life on the dock rule but that does not say there are not tensions on a boat.. small quarters and there is always someone who stirs it....I could go days on end and not say a word and that would drive them all crazy!!! but mostly anger takes energy and we were running on nothing so no energy for practical jokes or anger...Jon is a show boater...with a BIG case of little big mans syndrome....alcohol and skippers DO NOT MIX....... 1  out of 1 found this valuable. Do you?
