One of the Trident boats, the Farwest Leader holds a capacity of 180 pots.she can hold 125000 lbs of crab and recently got a American flag painted on her bowl and stern (not shown in the picture). Season 3 marked Ragnilds second King crab season and first Opilio season working along side Greg. Greg and Ragnild met in 1986 onboard the F/V Northern Glacier, a factory trawler. They have 2 daughters. Name: Chris “Chilly” Anderson Position: engineer Years experience: Mini bio: Chilly has been commercial fishing for twenty-six years. He started his career on the Tident crab processing vessel Bountiful. He has worked on the Farwest Leader for thirteen years Name: John Mavar Position: Deckhand Years experience: 4 Mini bio: John has been commercial fishing for about 25 years, and onboard the Farwest Leader the last 3 years. John also owns and operates the F/V Windsong, a 32 ft gillnetter that fishes salmon in the summers. Nick Mavar Jr, onboard the Northwestern and John are brothers. Name: Eltico “Tico” Tyson Position: Deckhand Years experience: 8 Mini bio: Tico has been commercial fishing for 10 years and has spent six years of the Farwest Leader.
